The patient is an otherwise healthy non-drug abusing 25 year old male who presented exactly the same way and has a mesenteric vasculitis with segmental infarction of the cecum. It is not inflammatory bowel disease. We are having a rheumatologist see the patient now. Any chance I could get a look at the path slides on your case? I'd be interested.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07867538748605841274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2760353953251845523.post-24812095420386905572008-10-12T21:05:00.000-04:002008-10-12T21:05:00.000-04:00Ramona-Looks like polyarteritis nodosa (PAN)Ramona-<BR/>Looks like polyarteritis nodosa (PAN)Jeffrey Parks MD FACShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15650563299849196122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2760353953251845523.post-77371124352075884592008-10-07T11:51:00.000-04:002008-10-07T11:51:00.000-04:00Any update on what the cause turned out to be?Any update on what the cause turned out to be?rlbateshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15236331355857884458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2760353953251845523.post-51765316053049310262008-10-01T21:52:00.000-04:002008-10-01T21:52:00.000-04:00I have Crohns, been in remission for a long while....I have Crohns, been in remission for a long while...
